As the principle advocacy organization in Latin America and the Caribbean leaded by the major express delivery companies, CLADEC promotes the interests of its members in Latin America.
CLADEC needed to devise a strategy to be more effective in its outreach efforts with Governments and Regulators. The solution was to develop workshops highlighting best practices on customs issues as well as to casing the most competitive legislation supporting those practices. This strategy was developed under the framework of the importance of the Public and Private sector cooperation, resulting in tangible and measurable successful results that continue being duplicated today along the region.
Also, CLADEC needs to communicate its position ensuring that the messages are disseminated flawlessly from Mexico to Argentina. The two-way communication: Country Associations with CLADEC and CLADEC with the Country Associations needs to be fed constantly and efficiently – Newsletters, Top Issues Reporting, Web-Page, Workshops and a Blog are part of the tools implemented to ensure this timely and seamless communication.
