CVOX Group promoted the SuperConf 2012, that took place in Miami, February 24 and 25, a two-day conference where web development & entrepreneurship converged, and that hosted eight selected startups with the opportunity to present to an audience of angel investors and venture capitalists for a chance to win $26K in cash and prizes.
The first day of the conference—Startup Blastoff—featured the competing startup’s ten-minute company presentations. Judges included Brad McCarty, Managing Editor of The Next Web, Matt Tanase of Slicehost, Paul Singh of 500 Startups, Adam D’Augelli of True Ventures and Pedro Torres Picón of Quotidian Ventures.
The second day of the conference featured a panel of speakers such as Jeremy Ashkenas of the New York Times and creator of programming language CoffeeScript, Zach Holman and Ben Bleikamp of GitHub, Jason L. Baptiste of OnSwipe, Chris Nagele of Wildbit, Richard Crowley of Square and Luke Seeley of MetaLab.
CVOX secured media for the event so that angel investors, venture capitalists, industry experts and the press could be aware of the event.
